Carrie Showalter

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE SPECTRUM/COMCAST ADVERTISING. Moved to Howey-in-the-hills, FL in 1979 with parents Gordon and Zora Kunde and sister Jennifer. Graduated from Tavares High School in ’82 and Florida Southern College (Lakeland, FL) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Communications ’86. 1987-1998 Worked at Fox 35 WOFL in Lake Mary, FL. Started as a Public Affairs Coordinator, then moved up the ladder in the Production Department to Associate Producer of their morning show, then Assistant Creative Director to Creative Director then moved to the Sales Department as an Account Executive.

In 1998 I married the love of my life Mike Showalter (VP of Triangle Marine Center, Tavares, FL) we live in Eustis and have a fur baby named Argus who will be 15 years old November 30, 2017. 1998-2010 Worked as an Account Executive for CW18 WKCF in Winter Park, FL. 2010-Present Working for Bright House/Comcast which is now Spectrum/Comcast as an Account Executive. I’m a preacher’s kid who can’t remember a time when I didn’t love The Lord and consider it an honor to be a part of the Lake County FCA Leadership committee.
